For over 50 years, our family-orientated dental practice has been serving the Parkes, Forbes & Condobolin communities. Until 2015, we went by the name of Richardson Dental. After untimely passing of Dr.Mike Richardson, his associate Dr Khazima Riaz (Dentist) managed the business and renovated our entire facility.
While we may have a new name, we’re continuing the same tradition of prevention-focused, comfortable dentistry for people of all ages.

Just like the atmosphere of our small country town, Riaz Dental Parkes offers a warm and inviting experience to each of our patients. We serve the oral health needs of everyone from young children to retirees, we aim to educate individuals on how to better care for their teeth, so they can retain them for as long as possible.

If you should require any treatment, our dentist and friendly staff will discuss our findings and recommendations with you. We will explain all your options, and how much each option will cost before we begin treatment. It’s no surprise so many of the clients who we care for are second or third generation patients of our practice.
Dr Mikaela Jackson
Dr. Mikaela is a compassionate and empathetic dentist dedicated to empowering her patients to achieve healthier smiles and maintain optimal oral health. She completed the Doctor of Dental Medicine with Distinction at the University of Sydney and was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation Scholarship for her outstanding academic achievements and leadership in dentistry.
Mikaela enjoys all aspects of dentistry and embraces the philosophy of treating every patient as if they were her own family. Her warm and friendly nature fosters a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring patients of all ages, from children to adults, feel comfortable and cared for. She would love the opportunity to get to know you and the whole family!
Outside of dentistry, Mikaela enjoys reading, playing piano and swimming.

Dr Scarlett completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago in New Zealand. She has since practised in both regional and metropolitan areas across Australia. Passionate about dentistry, she values building long-term relationships with patients through ongoing care and regular reviews.
Dr Scarlett is a skilled, gentle, and considerate dental surgeon who recognises that dental visits can be intimidating. She aims to support anxious patients by creating a calm, welcoming environment and ensuring each appointment is as comfortable as possible.
Her clinical interests include pain control, as well as restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Outside work, she enjoys travelling for great food and baking.
